There can really be only one word for me this week… ‘gap’.
Our little bear has lost her first tooth! Apparently teeth go out the same order they came in and in this case, it’s true! Another milestone… The tooth has only been wobbly for a few weeks and in fact I blogged about it (of course!) in a ‘Letter to the Tooth Fairy’.
Tonight, the tooth fairy will pay a much-awaited visit. (A few weeks is a looong time in a nearly 5 year old’s world!)
I have to say that our bear looks very cute with her little gap!

Don’t they look cute with their gappy teeth? We went through a spate of losing them, but have had a break (phew!) for a while although apparently theres’ another wobbly tooth on its way I was told this morning 🙂
It’s when they start trying to wobble them so that the tooth fairy can make another visit… :s
Ah, bless her! I had thought it was a little later that they lost their teeth, but given that your little Bear is pretty much the same age as Boo, I’d best start checking for wobbles! Thanks for sharing with #WotW x
…and don’t forget to put the tooth fairy on standby 😉
ahhhh a massive milestone! hope the tooth fairy finds it ok 🙂 #WotW
Yes indeed, I’m happy to report that the tooth fairy found it and left a shiney gold coin 🙂 One very excited happy little bear!
My son is 4 and he will have this milestone too in the future! I am so looking forward to it and your post made me more excited =) #wotw
It IS very exciting!
It’s so cute when a little ones looses teeth, especially their front ones. We always told our two that the fairies take the teeth to make tiny toys for their children. And I’ll always remember having to stifle a giggle when, my then, little girl insisted that she had seen a small, twinkling fairy come to take her tooth.
Just popped over from #WotW.
Ah yes, we’ve been ‘spotting’ fairies in the garden all week! Thanks for popping by 🙂
